How Panda Exteriors uses AI voice agents to automate door to door canvassing confirmation calls, freeing up the call center and enabling higher overall productivity

The problem

Panda Exteriors has a well established door to door canvassing program to talk to homeowners about their needs and the potential for a roofing project. Previously, these canvassers would call into the call center to confirm appointments and homeowner information. This is a manual process and sometimes there would be conflicts between the canvassing team and homeowner team regarding procedure, allowed appointment slots, etc.

Automating canvassing calls with voice AI agents

With Leaping AI, Panda Exteriors now automates these confirmation calls already for four US states. The voice AI agents are able to identify the canvasser, introduce themselves to the homeowner, verify their information and get an appointment booked on the calendar. The given script is followed consistently in every conversation.

To manage appointments, Leaping AI integrates with Google Calendar to read and write appointments. The availability per rep is taken into account when it comes to appointment scheduling. The AI is also able to capture crucial information from the conversation and paste it directly into the Google calendar appointment blocker.
